March Madness Wagering – Butler Bulldogs -2.5 vs VCU Rams

The Bulldogs are 2.5 point favorites in March Madness gambling versus VCU in the 1st Final 4 game on Saturday evening. Butler is trying to get back to the national championship competition for a second straight year and they’re preferred in March Madness lines at the sports book to make it versus the Rams.

Rams Biggest Cinderella Ever

Virginia Commonwealth is just not meant to be in the Final 4. They were not even supposed to be in the NCAA Championship at all.  There have been two other #11 seeds that made the Final Four but neither George Mason in 2006 nor LSU back in 1986 was nearly as major of an unexpected. LSU shouldn’t genuinely even count as a Cinderella story since they in fact got to play at home in that 1986 competition. The merely comparable Cinderella is George Mason in 2006 however the Patriots were never a double-digit underdog like VCU was versus Kansas. And in 2006 the Colonials went 15-3 to win the Colonial Athletic Conference.  VCU ended 4th in that same conference this year.  Plain and just, VCU isn’t meant to be in the Final 4 and is the biggest Cinderella story ever in the NCAA Competition.

Seasoned Bulldogs

Butler certainly has more knowledge than VCU since the Bulldogs played in the Final Four a year ago. They were a missed shot away from upsetting Duke and winning the national title.  Butler has experienced competitors in Matt Howard and Shelvin Mack and one of the top young coaches in the game in Brad Stevens.
