Marquette (17-10 ATS) has lost two of its last four games, though both came against strong teams—a regular-season ending defeat to Notre Dame followed by last week’s Big East tournament loss to Georgetown.

Jimmy Butler led Marquette with 17 points and five rebounds in the 80-57 loss to Georgetown. Maurice Acker chipped in with 16 points.

Washington (14-18 ATS) is riding high after seven consecutive wins, including a 79-75 win over Cal to win the Pac-10 tournament.

The Huskies got 18 points from Quincy Pondexter in the Pac-10 championship game. Guard Isiah Thomas was also a key factor with 16 points.
